Mission Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer animal help and rescue organization whose focus is finding permanent homes for disadvantaged animals that are often considered unadoptable.
We operate primarily in the greater San Diego and Los Angeles areas, but have often traveled much farther to provide assistance to, or transportation for animals on their way to a new home.

Johnny was living in an abandoned factory in Pomona that was about to be torn down. Very wily and elusive, it took three months of weekend work to finally capture him. Now he is happy in a new home – we wonder if he ever thinks why he was working so hard to not get caught.
